This light mail, about 60% lighter than steel, utilizes aluminum rings which have been riveted for durability and good protection. Even if you wear it all day long you'll hardly notice the weight. In addition, it has been given an attractive dark grey finish for a battle-worn look. The outer diameter of rings is about 1/2".
It can be worn with or without a helmet, but a hood or arming cap is recommended. Unlike traditional steel mail, aluminum mail does not require oiling! Made by Windlass Steelcrafts.
